Visit us at these upcoming events: » TSS Training Classes – October 2008 in Houston, TX Increase productivity and analysis capabilities by taking a TSS class! Solving complex spacecraft design problems requires tools specifically tailored to solve those complex problems. Using a tool like TSS effectively can reduce design time and lower spacecraft cost. Spacedesign Training offers three training courses to allow users to quickly become effective users of the tool. See brochure for details » Introduction to TSS course – October 1-2, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. The Introduction to TSS course is two days of hands-on-training with the Thermal Synthesizer System to teach users how to analyze spacecraft in the space thermal environment. The class notes provide over 300 pages of TSS methodology and a class project. The class project takes the student through all TSS applications by performing thermal analysis on an orbiting spacecraft thruster. » Advanced TSS course – October 3-4, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. The Advanced TSS course is two days of training with the Thermal Synthesizer System. The class notes provide advanced TSS methodology and techniques. The main focus of this class is the new enhancements in TSS Version 12.01, such as, (1) Importing and building computational geometry using Boolean Operations, (2) Attenuation of radiation through participating media, (3) Bi-directional Reflectance Distribution Function, and (4) Sinda/Fluint 4.1 C spreadsheet symbols. Additional topics such as analyzing spinning spacecraft, using the the underlying TSS programming language, calculating structural deformation due to temperature data, and Computational Surface Radiation (CSR) modeling of the Lunar surface are discussed. Classes are held at Sandia National Labs. Please contact the sales department at (832) 326-8442 to make arrangements to attend these classes. |
